Definition of Digital inclusion.

That every individual has internet access regardless of where they are, and who they are—race, culture, disability, age, and environment.  Access to this information allowed without a catch. Their environment is not a strike against the right to the internet and its information. Some individuals have disabilities physical or mental access to the digital world is not made simple for them. It is something creators should consider because they are part of society that sometimes leaves them in the background. But they need internet access as much as someone who is blocked. Also, representation online is important because everyone’s story should succeed without obstacles in their way.  It is important for those suppressed because they the ones that need this information and representation. They use platforms to express their injustices, discrimination, and biases in society. And sometimes it does get lost in the crowd of posts because everyone has the right to their thoug...

Response:"Never alone"

Area 1:  The game "Never Alone" takes Alaskan traditions of storytelling and develops a game to engage younger generations. And reestablishing their culture into them and passing down the knowledge of their children one day. The game is simple, guide this girl and solve why her village was destroyed. The game uses spirit fox as well as other Alaskan spirits to help you along the way. The voice-over work is done by tribe members which is a nice change to see. Area 2:   The first thought is this game is jam-packed with information about the Alaskan people's culture and traditions. In a game, not exactly what I pictured or gameplay but I'm here for it. I think if you want your kids who have no interest in learning about their culture this a good example of getting them interactive. And it is so...

Video Game: Score Card

Image
This scorecard bases a game if it is the main character that can be personalized in creating the character at the start of the game or during the game if it is an option?choose based game. The game I chose to base this off on is South Park Fractured Butthole. This game allows the player to choose their ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation. Although South Park, in general, is controversial it is one of the first games that I have played that allows you to choose how your character looks in story-based games. Again, this first game I have played (not that sims or other games do not have this option). I do not play video games often.
